Zaheer Gorsi

His journey with sports equipment manufacturing industry in Pakistan, started 30 years ago while working for Save the Children Fund, to help eliminate the child labor from the soccer ball manufacturing and also to create alternative economic opportunities for the effected families of those children. Through this brief stint with ILO and Save the Children Fund Project, he came face to face with stark reality that those who toil in making perfect round and shiny soccer balls for the world, are made to live in such a subsistence level that they can’t afford to put their own children to school. There are myriads of contributing factors leading to these painful inequities,

which are common among third world societies.
